Appreciation

Our thanks to...

•all the pastors who came to preach on Lenten Wednesdays this year (Pastors Rick Oshiek, Steve Counts, Sterling Nelson, Don Fritz, and Tom Quickel)

•Becky Whitlock, for leading mid-week services while Pastor Jim was either away or preaching elsewhere (to Carolynn and Roger Bailey as well!)

•all our committees who sponsored the mid-week meals of Lent

•the families – the Ottingers, the Nippers, the Aaroens, the Leonards, and the Wessners for hosting our youth for their Lenten Bible Study

•our “Cover Girls” for their continued work on quilts that are sent all around the world

•our crew that puts together the “New Sense” each month

•the congregation—for their prayerful and financial support of ETSU’s “Lutheran Student Movement” Spring Break Service Project to inner city New York.  You made the difference for them all

•to our Heartsong Band and our Chancel Choir, for all the extra work that must be done during the busy seasons of Lent, Holy Week and Easter Sunday

•Bonnie Koepper, for all the work she does to help people in this congregation!  Also, thanks for working with our first communion students!  And for working in the office on March 14th!

•all who work hard to feed the hungry at the “Malting Pot” each month

•all who attend our prayer breakfasts, women’s circles, and Bible and/or book studies

•our confirmation class parents—who provide food for our students each Sunday

•Jean and Tom Loveday for all the work they do to keep our courtyard looking beautiful!

Thank you notes...

I would like to thank everyone for the calls, visits, prayers, and cards during my recent stay in the hospital.

Gratefully,
