Helping

Blood Drive

In memory of Mary Everhart

On April 11th

We will have a very special Blood Drive at OSLC
 in memory of Mary Everhart
who volunteered with the Red Cross for many years.

She arranged the Blood Drives at OSLC until her health prevented her from doing so.  Mary’s favorite color was red, as is the color representing the Red Cross.  Red ribbons will be available in the narthex as well as a copy of a very special memorial written by her husband Harold.  Please wear a red ribbon to honor Mary’s memory for the many things she did for OSLC.  Consider a blood donation and ask friends to donate also.  What better way to honor Mary’s memory and to help someone in need at the same time!  The Red Cross has set the goal of 30 units of blood to be collected at OSLC.  Mary always worked very hard to reach and maintain that goal.  Let’s not let her down!
