Food Pantry
Members of the OSLC congregation donate food for our pantry. This food is given to those who express a need to the church office. Records are kept on who is receiving food and how often requests are made.
Volunteers make up food bags in advance so they are ready for distribution when requests are made. Each bag consists of a box of cereal, box of crackers, jar of peanut butter, a meat product, pasta, soup, a green or yellow vegetable, can of fruit, and Jell-O or cookies, if available.
More than one hundred and fifty (150) bags of food are given out most years.
