Outreach Committee

Outreach will lead and encourage members of the congregation to work together to bring the un-churched and de-churched to Christ and to Our Saviour Lutheran Church.

Becky Hamilos is Chair of the Outreach Committee. The Outreach Committee will be represented by the Seeking Council Representative.

The primary responsibility is to reach into the community to bring Christ to the un-churched and reawaken a desire to worship God in the hearts of the inactive believer. Focus should be on, but not limited to, the following duties and activities:

-- Advertise church news to the community through newspapers, signs, Website, yellow pages and other appropriate media.

-- Schedule, organize and supervise the Living the Great Commission.

-- Greet visitors, maintain records, and initiate contact with visitors.

-- Train and recruit hidden greeters to make contact with visitors at Sunday services.

-- Send postcards and maintain contact in other appropriate ways to newcomers.

-- Encourage prospective members to join the church.
