COVER GIRLS

Cover Girls can always use new members to help with quilting.  No experience is necessary!  We meet the second and fourth Mondays of each month - in March, we will meet March 8 and 22.  Come and help out and enjoy some fun and fellowship at the same time!

Anyone wishing to donate cotton or cotton blend fabric for the 12" x 12" squares (especially needed are solid colors used for fillers in our patterned quilts) would be appreciated.  Just bring it by the office or place in the "bonus" room behind the fellowship hall.

HEALTH KITS

Items for health kits are still being collected and will be collected from now through August.  The following items are included in the kits:  1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth (dark colors suggested), a bath-size bar of soap in its original wrapping, an adult toothbrush, a wide-tooth comb, a pair of nail clippers with a file, and ½" - ¾" Band-aids.

Please consider supporting this project.  WELCA is requesting church-wide support.  Seventy-five kits were put together at the Valentine Tea at the home of Martha Montgomery, but the need is so great!  These kits are needed in many parts of the world including Haiti.  During the month of March we will concentrate on bringing nail clippers with files and Band-aids but any item could be brought at any time.  A basket is in the hallway for Health Kit items.
